ABOUT THE DESIGN
The pattern takes its name from the story of Aphrodite weeping after the death of her lover Adonis. Greek lore has it that the anemone flower sprang from the earth watered by Aphrodite's tears. The artwork for this design was hand painted by KK Harris in her Richmond, Virginia studio.
