KATHRYN HUNT STUDIO

Growing up on the coast of the North Fork, Kathryn found her love for abstract art inspired by the scenic water and landscapes of Long Island. A generational artist, Kathryn began exploring mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, and pastels at a young age. She later went on to study business, art history, and architecture before cultivating a career working for esteemed interior designers and opening her Interiors Studio in 2015.

Beyond designing impactful interiors, Kathryn shares her love for the arts, travel, and nature which inspire her creation of hand-painted works which are curated through custom wallpapers and textiles. She curates and designs furniture, lighting, and textiles rooted in quality and function.

Playa De Laga, her debut wallpaper collection, is inspired by time spent in Playa De Laga in the Biosfera de Urdaibai Nature Reserve in Spain. Playa De Laga features incredible views of golden dunes and fine sand that opens up to the crystal blue sea. Color, texture, form, and scale occupy space in breathtaking ways.
