A daughter of an interior designer, she spent her childhood in the family furniture store, Bragg Furniture, and enjoyed tagging along with her mother to Designer Showhouses. Her childhood in the furniture business ignited a passion for fabrics, textiles and wallcoverings. After attending Auburn University for Apparel Merchandising and Design, she decided that Interior Design was her path and earned her Interior Design Certificate from University of Alabama Huntsville.
In 2016, Lauren moved to Atlanta to work for esteemed interior designer Melanie Millner at The Design Atelier. In 2020, she was hired as a Senior Designer for Betty Burgess Design, one of Atlanta’s most respected interior design firms. She has worked on projects across the US extending from Georgia to Colorado, Maine, Florida, New York and California.
After the birth of her son in December 2022, Lauren decided to launch her own design firm and antique shop, Shoppe Weis. Lauren resides in Atlanta with her husband, Chris, son Wells, daughter Remy, and her King Charles Spaniel Bode. Claire Arnold

Claire was born and raised in Atlanta. From a young age, she was immersed in the world of interior design - not by chance, but through her upbringing. Her mother has spent her entire career in the industry and growing up alongside her work and creativity left a lasting impression on Claire. Creativity came naturally to Claire, but it wasn’t until her time at The University of Mississippi that she truly realized interior design was the path she was meant to follow.
After graduation, Claire began her professional journey back in Atlanta. She had the privilege of working alongside some of the city’s most respected designers. Her first role was with Griffith Design Temps, an experience that was nothing short of foundational. It gave her a comprehensive look at the design industry from the inside out. Seeking to expand her knowledge and experience, Claire transitioned into a sales role at the Holland & Sherry showroom at ADAC. There she gained invaluable insight into the high-end textile and furnishings side of the design world that continues to shape and inform her work at The Design Social Studio today.
