KK HARRIS
KK Harris’ colorful line of artisanal Belgian linens, chintzes and cottons are the product of a bespoke production process: hand drawn or painted by KK in Richmond, Virginia. Transformed onto eco-friendly fabric and wallpaper in the US and England, KK's textiles are created by skilled craftsmen and women who oversee the production, printing and shipping of her designs for interior designers around the globe.
As a decorative arts designer with a degree in Historic Preservation, KK Harris is passionate about preserving the storied traditions of the building and decorative arts. KK likes to joke that she has "the mind of a preservationist and the heart of a modernist." Her designs seek to reference history while embracing progress. It's the juxtaposition of old and new that continually inspires her.
