Quercus & Co. is a boutique wallpaper and fabric design studio based in Sydney, Australia. Their practice combines hand-painted imperfection with the precision and adaptability of modern technology. They create collections that celebrate the beauty of pattern and color, and each one tells a unique story. The designs are inspired by elements from the natural world as well as historic influences from the canon of art, design, literature and culture. Having spent over 20 years exploring the nuances of color and design as a decorative painter and colorist, Quercus & Co. founder, Adam Jones, fulfilled his long-held desire to start his own wallpaper company.
In 2012, after purchasing a wide format printer and several rolls of paper, Quercus & Co. was established. The business has since expanded into a thriving studio with a small, efficient team made up of dedicated creatives who work to reinforce Adam’s vision for Quercus & Co. All of their wallpaper and fabric is printed in-house in their Sydney studio. Their passion is to design and produce painterly and distinctive wallpaper and fabric for the best interiors in the world. They hope the stories told through their designs complement the spaces they dwell within, and form part of a larger story curated by some of the world’s most talented interior designers.
Quercus is the botanical name for the Oak Tree.
