Inspired by French antique textiles, Russian Roller prints, Nostalgic English laces and American flea market finds. This collection is woven with love in Turkey, my home away from home.
Jennifer McKee is a textile designer based in the antiques-and-textiles-wonderland of Istanbul, Turkey.
A native of Spokane, Washington, Jen graduated from FIT with a degree in Home Textile Design, then worked as a textile designer at Martha Stewart in New York City from 2003-2008.
Having called San Francisco and New York City home, Jen has been based in Istanbul, Turkey, since 2008, where she assisted Elizabeth Hewitt of Tulu Textiles develop her foundational collection of fabrics and home textiles.
Jen is also in the family of two family-owned-and-operated textiles factories for lace and jacquard, where Jen has designed and developed home textiles for Zara Home since 2020.
Her own collection of jacquard fabrics to-the-trade is launching in 2025 after years of collecting inspiration and developing her unique fabrics with boutique mills around Turkey. Her line celebrates unique antique textiles, the technical and hand-loom capabilities of Turkish looms, and her own panache for color and style.
